In view of the Covid19 Pandemic, The 2nd KCIAPM interactive slide seminar – for the year 2020 was converted into a virtual event and was hosted by Dr Suresh Chandra and Dr Usha Kini from Oncquest Laboratory ,Bangalore on 20th July,2020.
A total of ten interesting cases from histopathology archival material of Oncquest Laboratory were retrieved. The slides were scanned and the digitized whole slide images were made available online – Courtesy Anand Diagnostic Laboratory, Bangalore.. Hyperlink to access the digital slides were provided to all the colleges across the state and answers to the cases were sought prior to the seminar.
The event was held completely online with the ten post-graduate students from allotted medical colleges, presenting the microscopic findings and diagnosis of each of these cases virtually from their respective colleges followed by slide discussion by Dr Suresh Chandra and Dr Usha Kini.
The event was was streamed live on the KCIAPM YouTube channel and had garnered closed to 5,600 views at the time of filing of the report. KCIAPM live stream video can still be viewed on the link provided below.
