KC-IAPM Election Nomination Form 2026

Instructions to Candidates

Email submissions only. All applications must be submitted via email. No physical copies or in-person submissions will be accepted.
Send your completed nomination form to:
secretary@kciapm.org
CC your Proposer and Seconder in the same email. Both must be copied — nominations without this will be considered incomplete.
The Proposer and Seconder must each send individual reply emails to secretary@kciapm.org confirming their proposal and seconding of the nomination respectively. Nominations without confirmed replies from both will not be considered valid.
All fields are mandatory. Incomplete forms will be rejected.
Candidates must meet all eligibility criteria as outlined in the KC-IAPM Election SOP, aligned with national IAPM bylaws.
Attach a biodata not exceeding one A4 page — qualifications, contributions to pathology/microbiology, and KC-IAPM/IAPM activities.
Digital signatures are accepted. Candidates, Proposers, and Seconders may affix digital signatures on this form before emailing.
Deadline: 31 May 2026. Late submissions will not be considered under any circumstances.

Important — Email Confirmation Process:
After sending your nomination email (with Proposer & Seconder CC'd), the Returning Officer will acknowledge receipt within 24 hours. Your Proposer and Seconder must reply to that email thread individually — one reply each — explicitly confirming their role. A nomination is only deemed complete once both confirmation replies are received before the deadline.

* Joint Secretary and Joint Treasurer for the 2026–27 term will serve 1 year, thereafter 3 years as per revised election process.

Tick each criterion you confirm satisfying. All applicable criteria for your chosen post must be ticked. False declarations will result in disqualification.

A. Common Criteria — Applicable to ALL Posts Every candidate must tick all criteria in this section regardless of post applied for.

I am a full life member of the national IAPM with no outstanding dues.

I have no criminal convictions or pending disciplinary actions against me.

I am an Indian citizen and resident of India, and will not be overseas for more than 3 months during my tenure.

I have made active contributions to pathology/microbiology — including conference participation, publications, or chapter activities.

My Proposer and Seconder are both KC-IAPM life members with at least 5 years of uninterrupted membership and no outstanding dues.

B. Vice President — Additional Criteria Complete this section only if applying for Vice President. Tenure: 1 year from 1 January 2027.

I have uninterrupted KC-IAPM membership for at least 10 years.

I have attended at least 3 General Body Meetings in the last 5 years.

I have attended at least 3 KC-IAPM Chapter Conferences in the past 5 years.

I have had prior service in the KC-IAPM Executive Committee, OR have served as a moderator/speaker at IAPM/KC-IAPM events.

C. Joint Secretary — Additional Criteria Complete this section only if applying for Joint Secretary. Must be based in Bangalore or nearby area.

I have uninterrupted KC-IAPM membership for at least 5 years.

I have attended at least 2 General Body Meetings in the last 3 years.

I have attended at least 2 KC-IAPM Chapter Conferences in the past 3 years.

I am based in Bangalore or a nearby area, as required for operational efficiency of the Joint Secretary role.

I have had prior Executive Committee service (preferred; tick if applicable).

D. Joint Treasurer — Additional Criteria Complete this section only if applying for Joint Treasurer.

I have uninterrupted KC-IAPM membership for at least 5 years.

I have attended at least 2 General Body Meetings in the last 3 years.

I have attended at least 2 KC-IAPM Chapter Conferences in the past 3 years.

I have experience in financial management — e.g., handling chapter/institutional funds, auditing, or similar roles. (Details to be provided in biodata.)

I have had prior Executive Committee service (preferred; tick if applicable).

▸ I meet all eligibility criteria as per the KC-IAPM Election SOP and national IAPM bylaws.

▸ I understand that any false declaration will render my nomination void and may lead to disciplinary action.
▸ I will not be overseas for more than 3 months during my tenure if elected.

The Proposer must be a KC-IAPM Life Member with at least 5 years of uninterrupted membership and no outstanding dues. Must not be related to the candidate. The Proposer must be CC'd in the nomination email and must send an individual reply email confirming their proposal.

The Seconder must be a KC-IAPM Life Member with at least 5 years of uninterrupted membership and no outstanding dues. Must not be related to the candidate or Proposer. The Seconder must be CC'd in the nomination email and must send an individual reply email confirming their seconding.
