Makar Sankranti Greetings from Karnataka Chapter of Indian Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists (KCIAPM)
On this auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, KCIAPM is delighted to make a new beginning by announcing the first-ever KCIAPM Research Grants.
Applications were invited in November 2025, and after a rigorous review process, we are pleased to share the following details:
KCIAPM Research Grant Scheme
Grant Amount: 25,000 per project
Beneficiaries:
5 Consultants
5 Postgraduate Students
Eligibility: KCIAPM Members
Frequency: Every year
Evaluation Process
All applications were independently scrutinized and scored by the Scientific Committee of KCIAPM, led by Dr Dayanand Bilgi, and comprising:
Dr Kalyani R
Dr S R Niveditha
Dr Kishan Prasad H L
Dr Vamsheedhar Annam
Dr Nisha Marla
Each project was evaluated using five predefined parameters.
The average of the scores was used to identify the top projects for funding.

KCIAPM looks forward to supporting meaningful research and fostering a strong culture of scientific inquiry among its members.
